Splashing out often many hundreds of pounds extra on an ‘Exam Guarantee’ is foolish – when study, commitment and preparing with good quality mock and practice exams is what will get you through.

Being a part of the information technology industry is one of the most thrilling and changing industries that you could be a part of. Being up close and personal with technology means you’re a part of the huge progress shaping life over the next few decades.

We’re barely beginning to get to grips with how all this will mould and change our lives. The way we interrelate with the rest of the world will be profoundly affected by computers and the web.

And don’t forget that on average, the income of a person in the IT industry in Great Britain is significantly more than the national average salary, so you’ll probably gain much more with professional IT knowledge, than you could reasonably hope to achieve elsewhere.

It’s evident that we have a great nationwide demand for qualified IT professionals. Also, as growth in the industry shows little sign of contracting, it seems there will be for the significant future.

Consider only retraining paths which progress to commercially accepted certifications. There are loads of trainers proposing minor ‘in-house’ certificates which are worthless when it comes to finding a job.

Unless your qualification is issued by a conglomerate such as Microsoft, Cisco, Adobe or CompTIA, then you may discover it will be commercially useless – because no-one will recognise it.
